What IS Bright Steps Beyond?
Bright Steps Beyond is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing under-resourced high school student-athletes with sport-specific, quality athletic shoes, helping them participate confidently in sports and perform at their best. 

 

How Was Bright Steps Beyond Created?
Bright Steps Beyond was founded by four young entrepreneurs who recognized a gap in access to proper athletic footwear for student-athletes and took action to create a solution that drives opportunity and equity in sports.

 

Who Does Bright Steps Serve?
We serve high school student-athletes facing financial barriers, ensuring they have access to the proper footwear needed to compete safely and confidently.

 

How Can A Student-Athlete Qualify To Receive Shoes?
Student-athletes can receive shoes when a coach or Athletic Director submits an official application on BrightStepsBeyond.com. Once approved, the athlete receives a voucher to use at Dick’s Sporting Goods for a pair of athletic shoes.

 

How Many Events Does Bright Steps Host Annually?
We host multiple events throughout the year, including partnered events, community events, and shoe distribution drives at Dick’s Sporting Goods locations.

 

How Can I Donate To Bright Steps?
You can donate directly through the donation page on our website, support our events, or contribute by cash or check.

 

How Can Businesses & Organizations Get Involved?
We welcome partnerships through sponsorships, collaborations, and event support to help expand our reach and impact.
